The present health and fitness paradigm does not work for most women.

This is because food and body issues are a symptom of emotional wounds, unmet needs, trauma, cultural and social issues. But that’s not what we learn to focus on.

You think of food as “good” and “bad”. You try different ways of eating – keto, paleo, vegan – hoping that this will fix your struggle with food and your weight. You look to see what others are eating and constantly compare yourself to other women. You’ve tried bootcamps and yoga retreats.

You are frustrated with yourself, and maybe feel foolish for not being able to solve this yourself.

When we feel stuck in behaviours that create emotional pain, that is a sign and calling from our authentic self, heart, and soul to heal.

Food and body issues are actually a doorway to healing, an opportunity to listen deeply to your true self, and ultimately can be the beginning of a more liberated experience of life.

I will guide you using a 7-step process…

We will look at your life experiences and the influences of biology, psychology, family dynamics, cultural-influences and spiritual beliefs.

Together, we will unravel the faulty thinking, beliefs and practices that come with diet culture, the machine-body metaphor and the imbalance in Feminine and Masculine ways of being. We will uncover the relationship dynamics and social conditioning that create the conditions for women to have this struggle.

We will address the behaviours that are signs of deeper wounds with food and body issues. People-pleasing. Perfectionism. Self-sabotage. Tolerating poor treatment in relationships.

This work is not “Body Positivity”.

This problem is far more deeply rooted than just acceptance of our bodies; it stems from each woman’s personal experiences with how her body’s appearance became this battleground for inner turmoil.

When the emotional issues that are at the heart of this struggle are understood and transformed, our body and outer appearance will reflect the wellbeing we feel on the inside.

Weight loss – if needed – is a byproduct of feeling good and not the source of happiness. By developing a kind and nurturing voice within, you hold the power in deciding how you want to look, not from a place of approval from others, but for yourself.
